BLOOMING PRAIRIE — The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team beat United South Central (4-4 overall, 1-2 Gopher) 49-41 at home Friday.

Janelle Morem had seven points, eight rebounds and six steals for BP (7-4 overall, 4-0 Gopher).

The game was tied at 31, but Sara Noble hit a couple of key threes to keep the Blossoms in the game.

“We came out in great shape scoring wise and defending,” BP head coach John Worke said. “In the second half we were a little flat and they came out with more energy.”
