The Mower County Sheriff’s Department reported a man from Elkton is missing a bundle of rebar worth nearly $3,000.

According to the Sheriff’s report, a man reported the 25-foot bundle of rebar missing on Nov. 29. The three-quarters to five-eighths of an inch thick rebar is worth roughly $1,000 if it is sold for scrap. The owner is unsure when the rebar was taken.
