Hayfield boys fall to Centennial

TARTAN — The Hayfield boys basketball team lost to Centennial (4-5 overall) by a score of 78-52 in the semifinals of the Tartan Tournament Friday.
The Vikings (6-2 overall) used a 7-0 run to pull within 45-35, but Centennial pulled away down the stretch.
“They answered every run we had,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said. “They’re depth was the difference and they just wore us down.”
Hayfield will play Rogers in a third place game in Tartan Saturday at 6:15 p.m.
