RCC men fall short

The Riverland men’s basketball team couldn’t overcome a big run by NIACC in the first half of a 91-79 loss in Riverland Gym Wednesday.

The Blue Devils (2-1 overall) pulled to within eight a couple of times late in the first half, but NIACC pulled away to lead 51-46 at the break.

Andrew Lau, a freshman from Glenville-Emmons, made his debut for RCC as he finished with 18 points, Guillermo DeDiego had 14 points, five assists and three steals and Zach Bunch had 14 points, five rebounds and six assists.
