This year, Spruce Up Austin (SUA) has the answer to your shopping dilemmas. Give a tree for Christmas! Just fill out the simple application on our website and return it along with your donation to SUA of at least $150. Your honorary tree will be listed on our Honorary Tree Registry which is permanently located in the Kiosk at the Mill Pond. And, since SUA is a 501(3c) non-profit organization, your gift is tax-deductible.

Planting a “green friend” for a special occasion will leave a living legacy. Spruce Up Austin has been helping community members plant green friends in the form on an honorary tree in local public parks since 1995. Honorary trees can be planted for many reasons, memory of a loved one, birth of a child, special anniversary, and recognition of service.

SUA will help coordinate the planting of an honorary tree from selection of tree to location. We will plant the tree for you, or assist you in planting.
