NORTHFIELD — The Austin girls swimming and diving team took fifth place at the 11-team ‘True Team’ Section 1A meet in Northfield Saturday.

Merideth Fritz took third in the 100-yard butterfly, Autumn Laury took fourth in diving, Helen Heimark took fourth in the 200-yard freestyle and fourth in the 100-yard freestyle, Emily McAlister took fifth in the 100-yard butterfly

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Mikayla Finney, Heather Johnson, Lindsey McAlister, and Heimark took fourth.

Northfield won the meet with a score of 2,102 and Austin tallied 1,529 points.
