An Austin man is seeking donations to help secure a source of fundraising for the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.

Brad McBeain is asking residents to help raise $10,000 to fund modified trailers used to collect and recycle pop cans.

The money from the recycled cans is sent to the Shriner’s Children’s hospital.

Donations will be used to purchase signage, chain-link fencing, steel pipe and additional trailers.

“With 10 additional trailers, we will be creating a long term source of funds to donate to the Children’s Hospital,” McBeain said on the website.
