Bruins rally past Wings

ABERDEEN — The Austin Bruins poured in three goals in a five-minute span to close the second period as they beat Aberdeen (4-9 overall) 5-3 on the road Saturday.

After trailing 3-1, Austin’s Zach Johnson, Brandon Wahlin and Josh Bretner all connected on goals to give the Bruins (10-2-1 overall) the lead for good.

Jason Pawloski had 23 saves for Austin.
