Local pageant organizers are seeking the next Miss Teen Mower County.

Young women age 13 to 18 can apply to vie for the Miss Teem Minnesota crown.

The young woman chosen as Miss Teen Mower County will become an ambassador for the area and receive an official title and sash.

The eventual Miss Teen Minnesota will receive a prize package, a $10,000 scholarship and the chance to represent Minnesota at the 2013 Miss Teen International pageant.

Teens compete in interview, fitness wear, fun fashion wear and evening gown competitions. Mower County teens interested in applying should write for a biography form to: Miss Teen Minnesota, International Pageant, P.O. Box 240537.
