Packers get past Stewartville

The Packers put on the pressure and beat Stewartville (0-5 overall) 2-0 in a girls soccer game in Art Hass Stadium Tuesday.

Brianna Byam gave the Packers (3-3 overall) a 1-0 lead on a free kick in the first half and Madeline Anderson added a second half goal to put the game away.

“We had a lot of rhythm in both halves and we played with a lot of confidence,” Austin head coach Enrique Camarena-Corzo said. “The girls played amazing.”
