A 52-year-old illegally living in the U.S. was convicted of second-degree criminal sexual conduct Friday in Mower County Court.

Juan Raul DelCastillo-Hernandez was sentenced to 25 years’ supervised probation and 100 hours of community service, unless he is deported.

DelCastillo-Hernandez signed a Padilla vs. Kentucky waiver, which is an admission to living illegally in the U.S. DelCastillo-Hernandez was also using the alias Rodolfo Flores and Damiacio Saucedo Jr., according to the court complaint.

Police began investigating DelCastillo-Hernandez in 2005 after discovering he had contact with a 10-year-old in 1999. The girl, who came forward years later, said DelCastillo-Hernandez grabbed her and tried to touch her genitals in 1999 while she was playing with her friends. The victim also stated that there is another young victim with whom DelCastillo-Hernandez was later involved. The court complaint does not state details in that case.
