Mower County Public Works employees are almost finished with road repairs in Brownsdale.

County workers opened part of County Highway 112 in front of Brownsdale Elementary School earlier this month after working on storm sewers and rebuilding the pavement, according to Public Works Director Mike Hanson. Hanson said Brownsdale workers also worked on utilities under the road.

County workers will put the final pavement coat on the street next May, and Hanson said the process would only take a day or so.
