An Austin woman died Saturday afternoon and her husband was injured in a motorcycle crash in Fillmore County.

Dana Legried, 38, died when her husband, 49-year-old Paul Legried, lost control of a 2012 Harley Davidson, went into the ditch along Highway 16 and struck a pole around 2:06 p.m., according to a report by the Minnesota State Patrol.

Paul was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Both were not wearing helmets. Alcohol was not detected in either Paul or Dana’s system, according to the state patrol.

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the crash.
