Two Austin residents won a total of $40,000 from the Minnesota State Lottery.

Linda Nelson won $30,000 playing the Bonus 3s scratch game. Nelson purchased the ticket at Godfreys, 964 State Highway 371 NW in Backus, and claimed the prize on Sept. 13.

Cheryl Anderson won $10,000 playing the Crossword Extra scratch game. Anderson bought the ticket at Watts Cookin’, 1509 10th Place NE.
