Austin Jaycees Friday donated more than $400 in school supplies to the Salvation Army to help out families in need.
“We saw a need and we thought it would be a great way to help out our community,” said Amie Klouse, Austin Jaycees president. “This is why we raise money.”
The Austin Jaycees is a nonprofit volunteer organization for individuals ages 18-40. Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn.
