Hounds knocked out of state tournament by Dundas

ST. CLOUD — The Austin Greyhonds had their season come to an end when they were shutout for the second straight game in the Class ‘B’ state amateur baseball tournament in Putz Field Saturday.

The Hounds (21-22 overall) had just five hits and they committed three errors as they lost to the Dundas Dukes 4-0 in an elimination game.

Austin finished with just eight hits in 18 innings at the state tournament.
