The Minnesota Dental Association and the Minnesota Dental Foundation are bringing the first Minnesota Mission of Mercy to the Mankato area on Aug. 17 and 18. The event provides free dental care to children and adults who are uninsured, underinsured or unable to obtain dental treatment.
More than 1,000 volunteers at the Verizon Wireless Center will help adults and children of all ages with cleanings, fillings, extractions and limited treatment for partial dental appliances. Patients will be seen on a first come basis each day. The doors open at 5:30 a.m. and early arrival is encouraged.
