Corlene Fay “Cory” Sorensen Frankenfield, 57, of Mankato, Minn., passed away Aug. 21, 2012, in St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

She was born to Willis and Gladys (Ferden) Sorensen and grew up in Rochester. She has worked the past several years for Family Dollar where she most recently was a manager in the St. Peter store. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her dog and cat and watching the Minnesota Vikings.

Survivors include two sons, Adam Shepard (Bambi Blue-raven) of Mankato, and Bobby Frankenfield of Oak Island, N.C.; five grandchildren, Harper, Jason, Mallison, Violet and Raven; her siblings, Charlene Graff (Dennis) of Racine, Minn., Trudy Durben (Michael) of Austin, Minn., Rochelle Wolf (Mike Russell) of Palm Bay, Fla. and Michael Sorensen (Deanna) of Wabasha, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Homes with visitation one hour prior to services.
