Sherry Jean Tabor, 76, of Austin, Minn., died July 7, 2012.

Sherry was born June 1, 1936, to Alfred and Thelma Gorton. She married Everett (Ez) Tabor on July 11, 1981, and worked in the Salvation Army for 28 years. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, embroidery and stamping.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Ez; children, Dawn Tabor, Donna Dietrich, Cathy Benett and Tom West; 17 grandchildren, Katie, Brandon, Josh, Nick, Sam, Jesse, Andrea, Dylan, Patricia, Olivia, Justin, Steve, Cody, Melissa, Jacob, Dallas, Dalton; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Chris Johnke; her parents, Alfred and Thelma Gorton; and Slim Schmidt.
A service will take place at 1 p.m. on July 11, 2012, at the Salvation Army with Major Ron Gordon officiating. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
