Searchers find missing boater dead on Forest Lake

FOREST LAKE, Minn. — A missing boater on Forest Lake in Washington County has been found.
Searchers located the body of 51-year-old Tod Crawford Thursday about a half a mile from where a pontoon boat was found on Monday.
The Forest Lake Police Department was notified of a dog found swimming unattended in the lake Monday afternoon. An unoccupied pontoon boat was found drifting.
KARE-TV reports (http://kare11.tv/M90YCo) Washington County Sheriff’s Water Patrol, Minnesota State Patrol Aircraft and the Forest Lake Fire Department helped in the search.
