DUNDAS — The Austin Post 91 Legion baseball team opened its season with a 12-5 loss to Northfield in Dundas Tuesday night.

Austin (0-1 overall) trailed 5-4 going into the bottom of the fifth but it couldn’t hold off the Northfield bats after that.

“We didn’t play too bad, we just didn’t get real good pitching,” Austin head coach Bob Stratton said.

Marcus Stoulil doubled in two runs in the loss for Post 91.
