The Izaak Walton League is taking full advantage of summer with another steak cookout fundraiser.

The cookout, the main fundraising events for the Ikes, starts 5:45 p.m. at the Izaak Walton League Cabin in Todd Park.

Members are serving a 10 ounce sirloin, baked potato, coleslaw, bun and vegetables. The event is open to the public, and tickets are $12 at the door.

Proceeds from the June steak cookout will be used to match state funds for a Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Conservation Partners Legacy Grant to remove invasive buckthorn from the Ramsey Mill Pond State Wildlife Management Area north of Austin.
