Austin firefighters douse the back of a garage that caught fire at the 300 block of Second Avenue Southeast Monday night. Fire Chief Mickey Healey said the garage started on fire from an outside source and spread to the garage’s back wall before firefighters put out the flames. Residents say they heard a loud explosion. The fire is under investigation.
