The Austin Bruins selected forward Drew Dorantes of junior United States Hockey League’s Tri-City Storm with the 15th pick of the 2012 North American Hockey League draft Thursday.

A total of 172 players were selected in the draft. The Bruins also selected defenseman Anthony Walsh of Chicago Mission, forward Kyle Krueger from Prior Lake High School, defenseman Dalton Spicer of the Tri-City Storm, forward Devin Mitchell from Russell Stover, forward Evan Peterson from Lakeville North High School, and defenseman Niklas Folin from Vastra, Sweden.
