Alison Prott of Wausau, Wis., daughter of Lori and Jon Prott, and Benjamin Johnson of Austin, son of Kelly and Jeff Johnson proudly announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Alison is a 2006 Wausau West High School graduate and a 2011 University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee graduate with a major in middle childhood education.

Benjamin is a 2006 Austin High School graduate and attending Marian University for operational management.

Alison works at Young Scholars Learning Academy, and Benjamin works at XPEDX as a warehouse supervisor.

The couple will wed on Aug. 11, 2012, in Wausau. They will make their home in Waukesha, Wis.

Grandparents are Tom and Arlene Bittner of Wausau, Bob and Vi Prott of Wausau, Jim and Deanna Cummings of Austin and June Johnson of Lyle, Minn.
