The Development Corporation of Austin will hold its annual meeting at the Austin Country Club at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Hormel Foundation Chair Gary Ray is the featured speaker.

“The community is just beginning to engage in the planning and implementation of the Vision 2020 top 10 visions and we expect Gary Ray to deliver a ‘call to action’ to DCA Members to get involved,” said John Garry, DCA Executive Director. “Gary is a tremendous champion of Vision 2020 and understands the significant potential this effort has to impact the economic vitality of our area.”

Vision 2020 is a community betterment project charged with implementing 10 major initiatives by 2020.

Among DCA’s current priorities are:

—Vision 2020 projects

—To continue to assist existing businesses to grow and prosper, and

—To support entrepreneurs.

“We are excited about all that is happening in Austin and are eager to help lead the successful implementation of ideas related to Vision 2020,” Garry said.

The meeting is open to DCA Members and invited guests.
