Blossoms get past Hayfield softball team 6-4

BLOOMING PRAIRIE — The Blooming Prairie softball team used a sixth inning rally to get past Hayfield 6-4 in BP Tuesday.
The Awesome Blossoms (8-2 overall) trailed 3-2 going into the sixth when BP loaded the bases and Tricia DeBoer hit a single that ended up being a four-run play for BP after a couple of errors by the Vikings (3-8 overall).
With a strong wind blowing out, DeBoer, a senior slap hitter, hit her first career homerun in the win and Hayfield’s Dani Wagner added a homerun of her own.
