A local family and police are looking for an 18-year-old girl who has not been seen since Monday.
According to the police report, Britesha Hampton, an Austin High School student, did not return home after school on Monday. The report adds that her parents saw her going to school at 8:30 a.m., where Hampton was supposed to have a meeting. School officials say Hampton never appeared at her meeting, and that morning was the last time anybody saw Hampton. Hampton is 5-foot-6 and about 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. The police did not have a photo Friday morning.
Hampton lives with her father, who notified authorities about Hampton at about noon on Thursday.
Police have contacted the National Crime Information Center about Hampton. The report did not list any speculation of who Hampton could be with or where she went.
Anybody with information can call the Austin Police Department at 507-437-9400.
