ADAMS — Three area golfers qualified for the Class ‘A’ state meet at the Section 1A meet in Cedar River Golf Course Tuesday.

In the boys meet Victor Peterson earned a trip to state as he shot an 81 to tie for third place overall and Hayfield’s Brady Becker earned a trip to state by shooting an 83 and finished seventh overall.

In the girls meet, Hayfield’s Kasey Dahlen earned a trip to state when she shot a 95 and finished fourth overall.

Lyle-Pacelli’s Jennie Marx missed the state meet by three strokes as a she shot a 99 and Spencer Holtorf was three strokes from state as he shot an 89.
