An Austin man who allegedly violated a no contact order while burglarizing a woman’s home pleaded guilty to one of two charges Thursday in Mower County Court.
Jesse Lee Padron, 29, pleaded guilty to violating a no contact order, a felony. He hasn’t yet pleaded on a first degree burglary charge, according to court records.
According to the court complaint, police arrested Padron at about 9:40 p.m. Monday after a woman called and said Padron was in her home and violating his no contact order. The woman states that she and her daughter were woken up by Padron when he entered the house and told the victim to hand over her purse. The victim added Padron then dumped everything from the purse into a bin, left the house and then returned, according to the complaint.
The victim, who left out the back door as Padron returned and came through the front, called police when Padron returned, the complaint adds. Padron allegedly admitted to violating his no contact order after police found him lying in the woman’s bed.
Padron also pleaded guilty to a domestic assault charge from December 2011.
Padron’s record shows convictions for fifth-degree domestic assault in 2002 and violation of a no contact order in 2008.
He has yet to be sentenced.
