Friends of the Library and the American Association of University Women are gearing up for their spring used book sale.

Funds raised will provide the Austin Public Library with new programs and scholarships for Riverland students. Milly Burroughs and the Friends of the Library have been sorting the donations, and they say the public response has been so good that no more donations are needed.

The annual sale is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 27, and Saturday, April 28. There is also a $5 bag sale from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
