The Grand Meadow-LeRoy-Ostrander baseball team allowed a two-out run in the bottom of the ninth inning as they lost their season opener 9-8 in Chatfield (1-0 overall, 1-0 Three Rivers) Tuesday.

The Bulldogs (0-1 overall, 0-1 Three Rivers) out-hit Chatfield 12-6, but they committed four costly errors and walked nine batters.
