Evening in Red organizers are calling the ninth annual fundraiser a great success.

The event raised $39,000 to support the American Red Cross in Mower County, according to a press release.

Attendees supported the local disaster relief fund, which helps families devastated by home fires. This service provides shelter, food, clothing, medial and emotional support for the immediate needs of these families.
