Bruins drop regular season finale

ONALASKA, WIS. — The Austin Bruins dropped their final contest of the regular season when they lost 6-2 at Coulee Region Saturday.
The Chill (18-35-7 overall) posted four second period goals and scored on two empty-netters in the third period.
Austin (36-18-6 overall) had led 2-1 after Matt Hansen scored early in the second period.
Nicholas Lehr stopped 35 of the 39 shots he saw in net for Austin.
The Bruins, who finished third in the five-team NAHL Central Division, will open their five-game playoff series at Alexandria this Friday and Saturday at 7:05 p.m. both nights. The series resumes in Austin April 13 and April 14.
If there is a game five, it will be played in Alexandria.
