The Mower County Attorney’s office is investigating possible drug charges after local authorities raided an Austin home Tuesday morning.

The Austin Police Department, Mower County Sheriff’s office and Southeastern Minnesota Narcotics and Gang Task Force went to a home in the 800 block of Second Avenue NE at about 10 a.m. Tuesday morning to serve a search warrant, according to Police Cpt. Dave McKichan.

Though authorities haven’t arrested or charged anybody, authorities did find methamphetamine paraphernalia, a small amount of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia. One person may have been cited for marijuana possession. An official complaint has not yet been filed, McKichan said.
