Registration for Austin Youth baseball is under way and it will run until April 16.

Registration forms are available at South Central Athlete and the cost is $25 per player with a maximum of $40 per family.

A child is eligible to play Austin Youth baseball if he or she is between the ages of seven and 15 by May, 2012. All participants are guaranteed at least three full innings of play each game.

Participants will not be notified of their teams until at least May 25.

Players who are 9-12 years old will play on Monday and Wednesday and players who are 7, 8, 13, 14 and 15 years old will play on Tuesday and Thursday.

All games are at 6 p.m. and attendance to both games and practices are mandatory.

Anyone who registers after April 16 will be accepted only if there is available roster space in their division and the family discount will not apply to let registrants.
