The third of four suspects in an alleged burglary that took place at the 400 block of Second Ave. SW on Sunday, Feb. 26, was arrested last week and charged Monday in Mower County Court.
Harley Becker, 19, of Brownsdale, was charged with first-degree burglary with assault, first-degree aggravated robbery and second-degree aggravated robbery. All charges are felonies. Becker is being held on $100,000 bail at the Mower County Jail. A fourth suspect, Jordan Cox, 20, of Austin, has not been arrested.
Victims say the four men allegedly broke into a house at the 400 block of Second Avenue SW, repeatedly punched and hit two girls under the age of 18, and a 19-year-old man, and made off with several cell phones and a 32-inch TV, according to Police Chief Brian Krueger.
The other suspects, Nestor Valle and Kyler Morehouse, are being held at the Mower County jail on $50,000 and $100,000 bail, respectively. Valle also faces one count of fifth-degree assault. Valle and Morehouse are both scheduled for a March 8 court appearance, and Becker is scheduled for March 15.
Becker also recently pleaded guilty to an assault that happened on Nov. 13, in which Becker and another man chased a 14- and 13-year-old, cornered the 14-year-old and repeatedly hit the teen. According to the court complaint, Becker punched the teenager several times in the face, put him to the ground and stomped on his face several times and broke his glasses and skateboard. Becker is scheduled for sentencing on March 22 in that case.
