Friendship brought us thru the years

Making a bond of precious memories

Gathering as freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors

With slumber parties, schemes, secrets and giggles

 

Sometimes you needed a hand

To hold — your friend knew when

When the sky seemed to fall

A friend would lend you an umbrella

 

After graduation came our 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s

With weddings, careers, children and grandchildren

Our lives are gifts to pass on

Friends are amongst life’s treasures

 

For all the memories we have made

For everything we have shared

You will always have a place in my heart

No matter where life leads us

 

My wish for the whole wide world

All around to have friends like you

Thru out their entire lives

We will meet again in heaven
