Primrose Retirement Community of Austin will hold a St. Patrick’s Day festival and open house from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 16.

Irish Stew and Soda Bread will be served, along with green punch and a festive dessert. Gary Froiland, a solo musician from Stewartville, who combines the five string banjo, guitar, bass, harmonica, dobro and fiddle with the use of PowerPoint in his programs, will provide a lively entertainment show. Door prizes will be given away to some lucky guests. This event is free and open to the public.
