MINNEAPOLIS — A Bloomington man accused of hurling a heavy metal vise through a car windshield, knocking the driver unconscious, is back in the Hennepin County Jail.
Gerret Parks is charged with four counts of property damage and one count of first-degree assault. He’s being held on $800,000 bond.
Investigators say they linked Parks to five incidents of thrown objects, although police had 14 reports of objects hurled at cars and trucks in Bloomington between Dec. 29 and Feb. 27, including rocks, bottles and an anvil.
The 39-year-old Parks posted bail at the Hennepin County Jail Sunday. On Monday, he was bailed out of jail in Polk County, Wis., after being arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and fighting with police.
