It’s back to business in Lyle.
The Lyle Public School board will discuss several budget-related issues at its monthly meeting Monday, including this year’s revised budget and starting the review of next year’s expenses.
Superintendent Joe Guanella said district officials are working on the revised budget, which will be presented to board members Monday. In addition, the board is expected to direct administration to look at next year’s expenses to see whether the district needs to make budget cuts.
“The first thing that has to happen is the school board has to direct the administration to examine that,” Guanella said.
Board members will also approve the 2012-2013 school calendar, as well as discuss the annual senior class trip and Eagle Bluff trip. Board members will also discuss the district’s integration budget, as Lyle partners with Austin, Albert Lea, Southland and Hayfield in an integration collaborative.
