The Austin wrestling team placed two wrestlers in the semifinals at the Section 1AA meet at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester Friday.

Austin junior Devon Felten, who is 20-7 overall, pinned Willie Krage of Caledonia-Houston-Spring Grove 55 seconds into the first period to advance to the 113-pound semis.

Austin junior Brennen Russell, who is 27-7 overall, beat WEM-JWP’s Tyler Ranslow 12-9 and beat CHSG’s Luke Werner 13-4 to get to the 126-pound semis.
