TRITON — The Hayfield boys basketball team closed out its regular season with a 64-17 win over Triton (2-21 overall) on the road Thursday.

The Vikings (20-5 overall) opened the game on a 22-0 run and they led 29-2 at one point in the first half.

Hayfield will now wait until March 6 for the Section 2AA tournament to start.
