Bruin defense holds off Wings

The Austin Bruins’ defense stepped up as they allowed just 14 shots on goal in a 4-1 win over Aberdeen (24-18-6 overall) in Riverside Arena Saturday.

Austin Nelson and CJ Smith netted first period goals to put the Bruins (25-15-5 overall) in control early on.

Nicholas Lehr had 13 saves for Austin.
