The Austin Area Arts Center will host the “Valentines” class from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. The class, taught by instructor Kim Finnegan, will create special Valentines through an array of art mediums and techniques including weaving, paper cutting, marbelizing and wax.

The cost for the class is $15 for non-members, $12 for members. Bring a paint shirt and all other materials will be provided. To ensure a spot in the class, please register and pre-pay at the art center prior to the day of the class. The art center is open 12 to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
