Waldoch scores key goal as Bruins top Minot 3-1

The Austin Bruins recovered from a slow start as they beat Minot (4-30-2 overall) in Riverside Arena Friday.

The Bruins (19-12-4 overall) fell behind 1-0 early in the second period but Charlie Adams tied the game with 1:44 left in the second and Trevor Waldoch gave the Bruins the lead for good when he netted a powerplay goal in the third period.

Tyler Bruggeman had 31 saves for Austin.
