Three Bruins selected to play in NAHL top prospects tournament

Three Austin Bruins players were selected to play in next month’s NAHL Top Prospects Tournament, presented by Combat Hockey, at the Troy Sports Center in Troy, Mich. Feb. 20-22.
The Bruins will be represented by Christian Folin, Brandon Wahlin and Tyler Bruggeman.
Folin, a 6-3, 215-pound defenseman from Gothenburg, Sweden, has 10 goals and 12 assists this season, Wahlin, a 5-8, 170-pound forward from White Bear Lake, Minn., has 11 goals and 17 assists, and Bruggeman, a 5-10, 170-pound goalie from North Mankato, Minn., is 18-7-2 with two shutouts and a save percentage of 92.8.
Austin’s C.J. Smith, a 5-10, 170 pound forward from Ritchfield, Minn., was selected to play in the 18 and under Selects roster. Smith has eight goals and eight assists this season.
