The Southland boys basketball team lost to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (10-3 overall) 84-55 in Plainview Tuesday.

Southland (8-4 overall) couldn’t stop PEM on the three-point line as the Bulldogs drilled nine first half three-pointers and 13 total from behind the arc. Beau Nelson scored 32 points and hit six of those threes for PEM.

“We didn’t play the best defense, but they were on fire,” Southland head coach Jon Thalberg said.
