Taylor Morgan poured in 29 points as the Riverland men’s basketball team beat Ridgewater 76-63 on the road Saturday.

The Blue Devils (9-8 overall, 1-3 MCAC South) led just 36-34 at the break but they rallied in the second half and led by as many as 22.

“It’s hard to get going and it’s tough to play on the road,” RCC head coach Scott Koenigs said. “But we played pretty well in the second half.

Jordan Osberg had eight points, 13 rebounds and five assists and Denzel Smith had 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting.

“Jordan had an all-around great game and Denzel had four thunder dunks,” Koenigs said.
