Packer girls fall to Owatonna

The Austin girls basketball team struggled in the second half as they lost 74-47 to Owatonna (11-6 overall, 8-3 Big Nine) in Ove Berven Gym Friday.

The Packers (7-9 overall, 4-6 Big Nine) shot just 26 percent from the field and they only scored 16 points in the second half.

“We’ve got to get more scoring,” Austin head coach Gary Peterson said.
